Church Services - COVID19
Early this year the Directors of Public Health for Lancashire asked us not to meet in person for our services. They have now written to all faith communities in Lancashire, telling us that as there has been a sustained reduction in the spread of Covid-19 they are now rescinding their request and are happy for us to meet again in a Covid-safe way.
We will therefore resume Sunday morning services in our church building from March 14th at 10.30am. Our evening services will still be on Zoom - please contact the office if you don't have the link and would like to join us.
During the current pandemic our in-person services are only available to those who are pre-booked. You can click on the booking button below to pre-book if you are logged into the website. If you are not able to book online, you can simply get in touch with the church office and we will book you in.
Live Streaming/Service Catch-Up
We are still going to be streaming/uploading our services so you can enjoy them at home when you are not able to come to the live service. You can see these on our YouTube channel here.
The church will be meeting every Sunday at 10.30am
. It will help to get there 10 minutes early, in order for everyone to access the building in a safe manner.
Here is a reminder of the guidelines from the Church of England:
Ensure you continue to adhere rigidly to the procedures around social distancing, face masks, hand hygiene etc and don’t become lax or complacent about these.
Be really strict in ensuring that people disperse afterwards and do not stay in the building or gather outside to chat in groups afterwards.
We meet at St Stephen's Parish Centre. The address is:
You can expect a warm, socially distanced welcome, an impacting preach and a friendly bunch of people gathering to learn more about God.
Due to the governments current guidelines and restrictions there will be no sung worship and we will have social distancing measures will be in place.
You must pre-book to come to the service using our 'Sunday Service Booking System'. If you are not able to use our online systems, please contact us
